BillEasy Inc. (“BillEasy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides software that enables businesses to create estimates and invoices, manage customers, and accept payments (the “Service”). BillEasy owns and operates its websites, mobile applications, and any related services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Platforms”).
BillEasy is committed to protecting the personal information we collect, use, and disclose in the course of providing the Service. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, use, and disclose information about identifiable individuals (“Personal Information”) through the Platforms and the Service.
Who This Applies To
The Service is provided to business customers who register for a BillEasy account (“Account Owners”). Personal Information collected through the Service from or about an Account Owner’s employees, contractors, or customers (“End Users”) is made available to the applicable Account Owner and their authorized users and is processed on the Account Owner’s behalf in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the Account Owner’s own privacy obligations.
Children
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. BillEasy does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a child, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible. International Users
BillEasy operates in Canada, and Personal Information is processed and stored in Canada. If you access the Service from outside Canada, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in Canada, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Lawful Processing
We process Personal Information as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, protect the security of the Platforms, and operate our business. We do not sell Personal Information. Where permitted by law, we may share limited information for analytics or advertising purposes. Payments
BillEasy uses Stripe to process payments. Payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe in accordance with Stripe’s privacy policy. BillEasy receives limited transaction information necessary to provide the Service.

Third-Party Related Terms
Third-Party Login and Accounts
BillEasy may allow you to sign up for or log in to the Service using third-party services such as social networking or authentication providers (“Third-Party Accounts”). If you choose to connect a Third-Party Account, you authorize BillEasy to access certain information from that provider as permitted by your settings with that Third-Party Account.
The information we receive depends on the provider and your privacy settings with them. Your use of any Third-Party Account is governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy. You may disconnect a linked Third-Party Account at any time by contacting us at Support@billeasy.ca.
Third-Party Links
The Platforms may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by BillEasy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of third-party websites. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk, and we encourage you to review the applicable privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
Third-Party Integrations
BillEasy may offer optional integrations with third-party tools or services. If you enable an integration, information may be shared with the third-party provider as necessary to provide the integration. Any information shared is subject to the third party’s terms and privacy policy.
Payments and Stripe
BillEasy uses Stripe to process payments. By using BillEasy’s payment features, you agree that Stripe may collect, store, and process your payment and financial information in accordance with Stripe’s privacy policy.
BillEasy does not store full payment card details. We receive limited information from Stripe (such as payment confirmations or status) to provide the Service.
Changes to Use of Personal Information
If BillEasy intends to use Personal Information for purposes not described in this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by updating this Privacy Policy prior to such use.
Cookies & Automatic Data Collection
Location Data
If you use the BillEasy mobile application, the app may request access to your device’s location. If you grant permission, BillEasy may collect location data to support certain features of the Service, such as security, fraud prevention, or feature functionality.
You may disable location access at any time through your device settings. Disabling location access may limit certain features of the Service.
Location data, where enabled, may be accessible to the Account Owner, authorized users within the account, and BillEasy for operational and security purposes.
Security and Fraud Monitoring
BillEasy may use device, IP address, and location-related information to help detect unauthorized access, suspicious activity, or fraud. If potentially high-risk activity is identified, we may temporarily restrict account access to protect users and will provide instructions for verification where applicable.
Time Tracking and Metadata
If you use optional features such as time tracking or photo uploads, BillEasy may collect related metadata (for example, timestamps or basic technical details). This information is used to support Service functionality and may be visible to the Account Owner and authorized users.

Sharing Personal Information with Third Parties
Service Providers (Sub-Processors)
BillEasy works with third-party service providers (“Service Providers”) to help operate the Service, including providers for cloud hosting, data storage, analytics, customer support tools, payment processing, and fraud or risk prevention.
These Service Providers may access, store, or process Personal Information on our behalf solely for the purpose of providing services to BillEasy and in accordance with our instructions. Personal Information may be processed in Canada and, where applicable, in other jurisdictions where our Service Providers operate. Business Transfers
If BillEasy is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, financing, reorganization, insolvency, or similar transaction, Personal Information may be transferred as part of that transaction, including during due diligence. Social Networks and Third-Party Accounts

Your use of any third-party platform is governed by that platform’s own terms and privacy policies. BillEasy is not responsible for the availability, content, or privacy practices of third-party platforms.
Third-Party Integrations
If you enable third-party integrations or add-ons, certain Personal Information may be shared with the applicable third-party provider as necessary to enable the integration. Use of such information is governed by the third party’s privacy policy and terms.
Payment Processing
When you pay for BillEasy subscriptions or accept payments through the Service, payment information is processed by Stripe. BillEasy does not store full payment card details and does not have access to complete payment credentials. Stripe’s handling of payment information is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy and legal terms.
Legal Requirements and Protection
BillEasy may disclose Personal Information where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or lawful government requests;

BillEasy may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. The effective date at the top of this policy reflects the most recent update.
Your continued use of the Websites, App, or Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Service.
